Customizing Check-in Experience for PheedLoop OnSite
PheedLoop’s Check-In Kiosk on its own has a ton of incredibly useful features for your in-person events. Like all aspects of PheedLoop, you can personalize your check-in kiosks to hide and showcase features like QR code scan sign-in, reprinting badges, on-site registration and more. Additionally you have the ability to both enable and customize notifications that can be sent to your attendees right when they check into an event.
Customizing Check-in

- From the Event Dashboard, navigate to OnSite > Settings
- Under Check In, configure the following settings as required
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Send Check-in Welcome Email | Sends a welcome email to attendees at the time they are checked in. This email can be used to remind attendees of key event details and encourage them to access the event app. The email content can be customized in the Communications section of the dashboard. |
| Allow Profile Edits | Allows attendees to edit their profile information during check-in when using the self check-in kiosk. |
| Enable On-Site Registration | Enables attendees to register for the event directly through the on-site check-in kiosk. |
| Disable Badge Printing | Disables badge printing in the on-site check-in kiosk. This is typically used when the event is using check-in functionality without badge printing. |
| Allow Badge Reprints | Allows attendees to edit and reprint their badges after they have already checked in. |
| Hide Search Avatars | Hides attendee profile avatars from search results in the on-site check-in kiosk. |
| Hide Search Tags | Hides attendee tags from search results in the on-site check-in kiosk. |
| Hide Scan Option | Disables the ability for attendees to scan their badges in the on-site check-in kiosk. |
| Enable Carousel View for Main Pages | Displays main page items in a carousel view instead of a grid view in the on-site check-in kiosk. |
| Restrict Check-In to Paid Attendees | Prevents attendees or ticket holders with unpaid registrations from checking into the event. |
| Allow Organization Members to Check In | Allows organization members to check in even if they are not registered attendees. This is useful for events with a large number of organization members. |
| Enable Express Check-In | Enables express check-in, allowing attendees to check in quickly without previewing their badges. |
| Show Check-In Information | Displays a Check-In Information button on the main page of the check-in kiosk. |
| Check-In Terms and Conditions | Allows you to enter text outlining the event’s terms and conditions, which attendees can review during check-in. |
| Check-In Information | Allows you to enter important information or instructions that attendees should know during check-in. |
| On-Site Check-In Tag Exclusions | Excludes selected tags from the on-site check-in experience so they do not appear in search results. |
| On-Site Check-In Ticket Exclusions | Excludes selected ticket types from the on-site check-in experience so they do not appear in search results. |
| On-Site Check-In Form | Allows you to select an optional form that attendees must complete before checking in. |
| Kiosk Admin Access Password | Sets a password required to access the settings menu in the on-site check-in kiosk. This prevents attendees from modifying kiosk configuration settings. |
Once you have finished your configurations, select Save Changes to save your progress.
