Exporting Badge Sheets
Exporting Badge Sheets
Badge Sheets let you export attendee badges as a printable PDF and print them on any standard office or inkjet printer — no PheedLoop kiosk or OnSite Check-In Power-Up required. This makes them a practical option for smaller events, walk-in registrants, or situations where you need badges fast.
Common use cases:
- Events with roughly 200 or fewer attendees
- Last-minute walk-in badges
- Events that pre-print and stuff badges before doors open
- Events working toward a tight deadline
This article covers exporting badge sheets, exporting badge singles, and what to print them on.
Before you start, you’ll need a badge template already built in the Badge Label Designer. If you haven’t done that yet, see Setting Up Your Badge Label Template for On-Site Printing. Make sure the template dimensions match the exact size of your label stock — whether you’re using Avery labels or custom sheets — before exporting. See Step 3 for label stock details.

Step 1 — Export badge sheets
1.1 - From the Event Dashboard, navigate to OnSite > Badges & Printers > Badge Sheets
1.2 - Select the checkboxes of the attendees you want to export
1.3 - Above the table, select Actions > Export Badge Sheets
1.4 - Under Badge Template, select the template you want to use
1.5 - Under Label Stock, select or configure your label dimensions:
- If you’re using Avery labels, select your Avery product number — Rows, Columns, and Margins will pre-populate automatically
- If you’re using custom label stock, enter your Rows, Columns, and Margins manually
- Make sure the badge template dimensions match the physical label size
1.6 - Select Export. A PDF will generate with all selected attendees’ badges and QR codes. For large exports, this can take up to a minute.

Step 2 — Export badge singles (optional)
If you need to print individual badges rather than sheet layouts — for example, for a single walk-in — use Export Badge Singles instead.
2.1 - From the Event Dashboard, navigate to OnSite > Badges & Printers > Badge Sheets
2.2 - Select the checkboxes of the attendees you want to export
2.3 - Above the table, select Actions > Export Badge Singles
2.4 - Under Badge Template, select the template, then select Export

Printer compatibility: badge singles are 4″ × 3″, which is smaller than a standard printer tray. Not all printers can handle this size. A compact photo printer works well — the Epson PictureMate PM-400 is a reliable option that’s widely available. You can also use pre-cut 4″ × 3″ card stock from online stationery suppliers.
Step 3 — Print your badges
You’ll need a printer and compatible label stock.
Label stock: Avery labels are the most common choice, but any compatible label sheets will work. The following Avery product numbers are known to work well: 5384, 5393, 74459, 74536, 74540, 74541, 78617, 78619, 5392. These are available directly from Avery or through retailers like Amazon, Staples, and Grand & Toy. Most Avery products include lanyards and badge holders — tear along the perforations and you’re ready.
Printers: Color inkjet or laser printers produce the best results. The higher the print quality, the sharper your badges will look.
Quick Tips
- Most sheets have 6 badges per page, but dimensions vary depending on which Avery template or custom label sheet you’re using — always confirm before exporting.
- Test your export with a small attendee selection before running the full list — it’s faster to catch sizing issues early.
- If attendees need to be added before exporting, see Importing Attendees into an Event.
